Did LSU back up my previous post? You damn right they did! The SEC is the most powerful conference in college football.......period!! The score doesn't reflect the dominance of LSU over OSU. The Tigers where just to quick on DEF for the Buckeyes plus the Buckeyes could not stop the Tigers from running the ball. Once again my theory proves to be true. The SEC has battle tested teams that play hard against better competition all year and the rest of the conferences do not and when the end of the year comes SEC teams take out there frustrations on inferior teams........"OSU, Hawaii, Colorado, Florida State, Clemson, Wisconsin, UCF".......7-2 in bowl games this season!!!!

Yeah, LSU played a good game. But it was against a punk @ss OSU team that hasn't proved to me all year why they were even in that game besides their 1 loss record. I think there are plenty of teams that would of beat LSU, and I think that there are teams that should of been in the championship instead of them. I don't feel like they are the national champions. I don't know who should be. but I do know that a playoff system would figure it out. I think that it would help the players too. If a player is great all year and has a bad bowl game, then there is a lot of emphasis on that performance going into the draft. if there was a playoff system, a lot of players might get more that one chance to prove themselves as an elite player. Sorry I got off the topic, but the point is, LSU is definately not hands down the best team in the country.
Now I agree with you on a playoff system, because I saw USC play alot this year and they were tough also. Now Georgia also has been tough to beat all year! Without being bias I can honestly say Florida would've given teams trouble in a playoff system also. Well let's hope there is a plus game in the future or playoff system on the way!

I love Mike's biased arguments with NO facts. Just like YOU say LSU shouldn't be there well I can give a number of reasons and my own opinions why other teams shouldn't be there. Fact is in this system that we have today LSU was the best. Coaches, AP, and computer all voted for LSU. Not Mike or Marvin.
To answer the playoff issue. A "plus one" at best is the only thing that could happen.

I don't care bout no records no rankings er' body across the country knows a LSU vs USC matchup would put all doubts to rest about who's the best. They should've got together and played a non sanctioned game on PPV tell me that wouldn't sell out! SC Baby!!!!!!
