SEC has four teams in the top 10 this week!

What else do the SEC has to do to convince everyone that the SEC is the best Conference in college football! They have four teams in the top 10 this week. I'm not even going to go with the top 25 because the SEC now has Vanderbilt joining the rankings! USC might be number one but it is so clear the SEC has the best teams. USC might be number three or four if they join the SEC conference!

NFL Draft 2008 is finally here!

The NFL Draft 2008 is finally here, no more mocks, no more player stock dropping etc.....

It's time for teams to put up or shut up! Even though the first pick has been sign, there is still

some intrigue for this weekend. Will St. Louis take Chris Long or Glenn Dorsey? Will the Saints move up, will the Falcons take Matt Ryan etc.......... It's going to be good! I guess I'm like all of the other football geeks, I can't wait!!!!

D. Hall gets paid!!

PER ESPN: D. Hall is getting paid!! I think Al Davis has officially lost it! Not that D. Hall is not a great CB but damn that a whole lot of money in the secondary! See below for details

Atlanta Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall says he will finalize a contract with Oakland by Thursday morning, allowing the trade sending him to the Raiders to be completed.
Frustrated by his team's lack of success, Raiders owner Al Davis has spent a lot of money this offseason. And he's not done yet, writes John Clayton.
A source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen that the deal is for seven years and worth $70 million. The amount of guaranteed money and bonuses in the contract have not been finalized.
The source also told Mortensen the teams are discussing possibly more compensation than just a second-round pick for the Raiders to acquire Hall, a two-time All-Pro.
If the deal goes through as planned, the Falcons will have three second-round draft picks and four of the first 48 selections under first-year general manager Thomas Dimitroff.
Hall said he is scheduled to fly to Oakland on Wednesday to meet with Raiders officials, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "There is just some tweaking of the language that needs to be done, some minor details," Hall told the newspaper. "No deal breakers."
Hall, a former first-rounder taken with the eighth pick in the 2004 draft, would be paired with Nnamdi Asomugha, giving Oakland one of the top cornerback tandems in the game.
The move would also provide insurance if Asomugha were to leave as a free agent following next season. The Raiders placed the exclusive franchise tag on Asomugha, guaranteeing him at least $9.465 million in 2008. They still would like to sign him to a long-term deal.
If the deal goes through, the Raiders would have only one draft pick in the first three rounds. Oakland picks fourth in the opening round and traded its third-round pick last year to New England for a pick used to draft offensive lineman Mario Henderson.

Houston Rockets make it 20 in a Row!

Teams in the NBA go on streaks all the time, but the Rockets are on a records setting pace............20 in a Row!! They beat the Hawks tonight for there 20th game in a row! The Rockets' improbable winning streak now ranks tied for the second-longest in NBA history, trailing only the 1971-72 Lakers' 33 straight for the all-time record. I hear sports writers on T.V. and fans say "well there schedule is favorable the last couple of weeks". I don't care how easy it has been, 20 games in a row is hard as hell and they won 8 of them without there starting center, Yao Ming!! I'm telling you watch out for these guys but the west is packed with talent the NBA playoffs are going to be great!

Former Cowboys RB lands in Seattle

Julius Jones has agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks for a four-year deal at about 3 Million per year. After loosing his job to Marion Barber in Dallas, he now shares carries with Maurice Morris and fellow free-agent pickup T.J. Duckett. That's right no Shaun Alexander!

I'm thinking he will get cut after or before June 1st. After a injury plagued year Morris came in for Alexander and played very well, leaving the Seahawks wondering why they gave Alexander that big ass contract from the get go!

D-Mac loves the Cowboys!!

Marion Barber and Darren McFadden in the backfield together?
What a dream scenerio for us Cowboy Fans! D-Mac also wants to have the star on his helmet!
Click on the link below to see what D-Mac had to say on Sportcenter about where he would like to play at the next level.
